We're back! Minimalist postcard design shows that less can be more.

This elegant postcard design promotes Horizon’s presence at Spring Boat Shows. 

First and foremost and apology to our readers as the last couple of months were super busy and we neglected our blog a little. We’re back and re-energized and ready to share a few of the designs and promotions that have kept us occupied.

With a clean and elegant postcard design, Horizon promotes its presence and invites guests and clients to the Spring boat shows in Miami and Palm Beach, Florida. 

The minimalist approach showcases the Horizon quality and lifestyle, while proving that less can be more. An uncluttered layout with ample white space allows readers to focus on the brand name and the stunning yacht photography and offers a peaceful parenthesis in an otherwise busy mailbox, subtly beckoning the attention of readers.

The 6x9 postcard design is a breeze to mail, the overall gloss uv varnish on the front makes for a shiny presentation, while the plain finish on the back is perfect for addressing and postage.

Classic and elegant yacht builder brochure design for Horizon Yachts.

We’re very proud to have worked with Horizon Yachts and alongside their teams in Florida and Taiwan to accomplish the design, creation and production of their latest Corporate Catalog and Model Brochure.

The 44-page catalog showcases the Horizon history, philosophy, and luxury lifestyle through photography and design and it introduces the 8 series that Horizon currently manufactures, ranging from impressive worldwide explorers to elegant megayachts, fun catamarans, a couple of solar powered boats, a sportfish model and everything in between. 

The classic brochure layout features ample negative space and beautiful images that become the true focus of every spread. For this piece we were fortunate to count with the copywriting talents of the well respected writer Rebecca Cahilly, contributing editor at Boat International Media. Her special touch with words gave a fresh voice to Horizon and helped tell a truly compelling story.

A well-known and respected Asian boat builder, Horizon is committed to creating dream yachts for owners worldwide, this catalog, which can be viewed in full as an online Flip Book, offers an initial glimpse of The Horizon Experience.

A vast collection of nearly 60 fabulous luxury yacht brochures

I was recently asked how many yacht brochures had I designed over the years. 
—Do you want a laundry list? I asked.
—Yes, please. We'll probably know a few!

So here’s a quick list of almost 60 yacht brochures I have designed over time. These are not all of them, but it’ll give you an idea for our experience with yachts. Proud to present the new website design for the beautiful charter yacht 130' Westport Arioso.

Motoryacht Arioso is a 130' (39m) Westport available for charter. Arioso came to us looking to design and build a website that was easy to use, image oriented, and that would provide potential guests, as well as other charter agents, with a flair for what a luxury vacation on board would be like.

Arioso has a very special crew that truly embodies the high level of service and attention that private charters are all about and their feedback was paramount to the design of the site. It was after hearing from them that we developed 3 key sections covering some of the aspects that guests are most interested in: Activities, Relaxation and Cuisine.

The Arioso website design also features traditional sections such as specifications, photo and video galleries, online brochure and full crew page.

The Arioso blog is perhaps one of our favorite areas of the site as the crew have been keen to contribute to this unique and very fun space. From the Diaries of a Stewardess, where the chief stew narrates a day in her life and how she comes up with lots of special touches for the guests, to the chef’s delicious recipes, to the captain’s suggested itineraries, and finally the amazing yacht photography by engineer Leon, a visit to this blog is sure to leave you daydreaming and wishing you were onboard.

Beautiful yacht catalogue designed for Outer Reef Yachts.

World-class yacht builders generally rely on a combination of fabulous websites and beautiful, high-end, luxurious brochures to promote their yacht lines amongst current and prospective clients, and there is nothing like a well-designed printed brochure, filled with gorgeous photos to represent the most amazing yachts out there.

The 54-page design created for Outer Reef Yachts features various sections that take the reader’s hand through a guided tour of the company’s history and mission, current technology, and finally a breathtaking yacht portfolio of Long Range Motoryacht models from 58' to 86'. 

The minimalist design, coupled with an elegant color palette of cream, navy and metallic bronze set a classic nautical tone for this high-end brochure that feels like a coffee-table book.

This brochure can be viewed in full as an online Flip Book and it was designed for Outer Reef Yachts via Laser Advertising.
