Fun Projects: Sweet Announcement Cards for baby Marcela.

When we’re not designing fabulous yacht brochures, we love to do fun creative projects. Announcement cards are a sweet way to welcome a new baby and introduce her to family and friends who visit or happen to be around the world. The lovely vector illustrations of lady bugs and butterflies were created for Baby Marcela and her family to match her new room’s décor. The cards were printed on metallic Stardream paper, hand-mounted over a variety of color card stocks and decorated with ribbons.

Five tips on Thank You cards and how to say Thanks.

A proper thank you is always welcome, it leaves a mark of appreciation, kindness and civility, and in or hurried lifestyles, it is something that we should make the effort to do. Here are some ideas:

1. Make the time to say thanks: whether it’s a written note, email, phone call or even a text message, take some time to say thanks when thanks are due.
2. Handwrite them: while it may sound old-style, a classic written thank you always makes a good impression.
3. Have some thank you cards or stationery ready: this will motivate you to write them quickly and easily.
4. Use thank you cards as a branding opportunity: invest in custom thank you cards or compliment cards for your company and use them to subtly emphasize your brand.
5. Tell people why you are thanking them: everyone loves to hear how they have been able to make a difference. So a little reminder of what they’ve done is a great way to start saying thanks.

Beautiful Christening invitations and gift cards for baby Nicolás.

These lovely angel was illustrated for the Christening invitations of Baby Nicolás. The angel is fun and sweet while it evokes the special nature of his baptism day. The theme was carried throughout the gift cards as well. Both cards were printed on Neenah Classic Crest Solar White, which gave a pure and fresh touch to both pieces and showed our little angel in brilliant colors.

Custom announcement cards make a perfect gift for new mom and baby.

These sweet and delicate announcement cards were created to introduce new baby Diego to his family and friends. The cards were done in textured white paper, with adorable raised applications evoking bath and sleep times, along with a watercolor motif. A silk ribbon decorates the top of each card. The size was made to fit standard stationery invitation envelopes for ease of mailing for the new mom.
